I just moved up to Tallahassee (from Sarasota) for school. Who's around this area? I would love to check out some trails.

Late to the party

I know this is really late, but I just got a 4runner in Tallahassee and was curious if you found some other Toyota/4runner people around?

Either way we should do some trails if your still in the area

Recently bought a trail edition. I've been on some of the forest roads in ANC recently.

I'm in Valdosta, about an hour away. Just got my 2016 TRDP 2 weeks ago. Anyone found any good local trails?

If you're in Tallahassee, there’s actually a small but growing off-road and overlanding community around North Florida and South Georgia. While it might not be Moab or the Rockies, there are trails and forest roads worth exploring — especially in areas like:

Apalachicola National Forest – Plenty of forest service roads and mild trails

Tate’s Hell State Forest – Swampy, rugged, but scenic — good for light off-roading

Osceola National Forest (a bit farther east) – More variety and some solid trail routes

You could also check out local groups or events like:

Facebook Groups: Look for ones like Tallahassee Off-Road, Florida 4Runners, or Toyota Off-Road Southeast.
