Tap into 12v constant for Eclipse AVN 6620 nav/ipod install

Hey all- I could use some assistance installing the ipod adapter for my Eclipse AVN6620. I've had the nav unit for a few months-works great in my 3rd gen runner. I picked up the Ipod interface adapter, but having difficulty determining a location to tap into the 12v constant. I have the actual module mounted behind the dash, the ground wire is connected with the parking brake screw, but I can't seem to decide on a place for the yellow 12v wire to the battery. I've gone blind searching threads on here and yotatech this afternoon. I'm lost, does anyone have any suggestions? Much appreciated!

Your head unit is connected to a constant power lead. Why not just tap right there?

yeah... tap it to the yellow wire on the wiring harness connected to the radio.

use one of these if you have one lying around:

Thanks for the responses-So, is my electrical ignorance shining through yet? If not, maybe this will seal it: Can I just clip the sheath on the yellow wire on the harness and twist the 12v constant together with the yellow wire and wrap with electrical tape?
