Tapping into the sunroof switch.

Hi--New guy here--

I am trying to hardwire my radar detector without a lot of fuss. I searched and one member said he had hooked into the sunroof switch.
Does anyone have any photos of a clean simple install? I can wire but I don't want to tear up my car doing it. I hate taking off the fusebox when this seems to be much simpler. I looked at tapping into the maplights, but was unsure of how to get into the maplight box. Does it just pop off?

the current draw on those systems is less than an amp so nothing to worry about..

just test all your connections with a digital computer safe multi-meter...
