TBU with stock 3x2 wheels

I have the same wheels as this truck - https://www.google.com/search?biw=1...gws-wiz-img.tfh3xCLzSUE#imgrc=HZfJmyzKyM4xCM: - and I think I've read that those wheels can't be used with the TBU, but now I'm having a hard time confirming that. I tried searching but I'm not sure what those wheels are referred to as so it's hard to search efficiently.

I have already ordered all of my TBU parts and would like to be able to put them on as soon as they get here. I'm going with the 231mm upgrade and just trying to figure out if I should find new wheels or buy a set of spacers.

Just get some spidertrax 1.25" spacers from wheelers (link). I love the look of these stock wheels with larger tires.

I can't find a good side shot to show the fitment, but this is as close as I could find of mine:

So with 1.25" spacers and those wheels I can fit the 231mm calipers on with no issues? If so I will go that route because I do like my wheels and my spare matches...

You know, grinding it down is a legitimate option if you like your current wheels. I did that until I scored a set of TRD Tacoma wheels. No issues and no rubbing.
