i like that gobi ranger rack.

on a side note, how much weight can the 5th gen hold on the roof anyways?

The factory crossbars are rated at 135lbs. So if you add a rack to those it doesn't leave much.Don't know if that's driving or static though.Probably driving .

Gobi's are rated at 300lbs driving and 600 static and attach to the roof, not the crossbars .You remove the factory rails and crossbars.
You can stand, sleep, shoot pics with a tripod, star gaze or whatever if you know what I mean on top with the Gobi rack..

What sort of MPG hit do you take with a rack like this? And wind noise? This is exactly what I've been looking for as a photo platform - kind of like Ansel Adams had on his old woodie station wagon!

the headlamps are unnecessary in my case. I was thinking the MegeWarrior might look too big. So i was thinking between the LoadWarrior or BaJaRack-The Mule. I am most interested in the BajaRack

Pictures would be nice if you have either.

thats one sweet lookin truck.

i looked up the yakima load warrior and it says that the weight is 44lbs. so 44lbs subtracted from the factory 135lbs means you can store only 91lbs.

sounds decent, you can throw quite a bit of camping gear up there without too much trouble.

Thank you in advance..

Ohh..The rack looks cool as hell too BTW

Nice RACKS :) , besides the actual loadwarrior, was everything needed to attach it to the bars included? and did it also come with a net?

It came with everything needed to attach it to the roof rack. Just needed a screw driver and tape-measure. It didn't come with the net but I got one anyway.

Sorry I've been working all weekend. but I sure can take some pics this week. I'm putting my lift in Tuesday so more pics then too.

Hello, I was thinking of getting the yakima load warrior for my TE(w/o kiss), but not sure if it will get in my garage...looking for advice. I have a standard garage 7x9 (80-81 inches to bottom of garage door when up). I have 7" from side rails to bottom of garage door when up....do you know if this would be an issue? Any advice from ones that might have this or the megawarrior? Any pic of a megawarrior on a TE too?
