Tech help please for Suspension

My ride 2003 4Runner Limited AWD and the ride is getting pretty rough. While researching and talking to the dealer, some say it has an air ride and some info says it has air ride components, some says it's normal shocks/struts, some it's Xreas. Help please!

Not too complicated to tell. If you have a switch next to your DAC switch in front of the console that indicates the height up or down, you have air suspension. Would be difficult to not know you have this already. A couple of ways you can tell if you have XREAS. One is to look at the shock and see if there is a line running to the shock itself. Each shock will have a line. Another way is to look on the frame rail - on the outside, both sides (driver and passenger). You'll see hard lines running both directions - forward and backward to a metallic housing attached to the frame rail.
