teflon wax called 5 star shine

new to the 4 runner fourm so work with me,has anyone out there used a teflon based wax or protectant for there vehicles?i found this stuff looking for waxes online and it sounds to be pretty good.i spoke with some friends that have detail shops and they agree but heres the kicker, its 50 bucks to buy and its supoda last for 5 years guarenteed.if ya are board look under 5starshine.com and let me know what ya think.what i looking to do is put a really good coat of something on my new 06 4 runner and dont want to get ripped off by the dealer and get simonized as they want to a tune of 300 bucks,oh by the way ya can get the same simonize stuff online for about 30 bucks if ya wish so anyway any suggestions? thanks

Personally, I don't think it would last 5 years. And their web screams "infomercial!!" to me.

If it was really that good, it would be a major brand, and I've never heard of it before.
