Tell me why

Can someone tell me why the door locks are left to lock, right to unlock while the lock on the rear hatch is the reverse - left to unlock, right to lock?

You guys with remote locking are excused... :biggrin1:

And while we're at it, why can't I lock/unlock all the locks from the rear lock?

Toyota had a surplus of passenger side door locks so to save money they just installed them on the driver side doors.







Also, I just made all that up but it makes sense.
