Background: I recently purchased a 2005 limited V6 4wd 4runner! I will be camping in the Utah desert with my brother who is an avid 4X4 nut who drives a lifted and modified 1991 landcruiser. He suggested that I get bigger tires, a 1.5 inch lift kit, and sliders. I have put 265/70R 17 nitto terra grapplers on the 4runner but that is it for additions. My wife mainly drives the 4runner and we do not want to part with the lighted running boards just yet.
