Hey All,

I have been seeing few videos on Youtube where some TRD Pro's or Trail Pre has this led screen ( where the clock is ) top of radio tells you which terrain mode you are in. I looked at mine and it just a simple clock.

is this not standard in 2017 4runner TRD PRO?

pic attached

Thanks

lol, so is this one of those factory options some comes with one and some don't?

It got phased out on the 2015 or 2016 year models. Can't say which one for sure, but I know the 2016 doesn't have it. And I think my friend's 2015 did have it. Or maybe it didn't. But yeah, the read out on that screen got moved into the instrument cluster's middle panel.

I would like to retrofit the clock on my SR5 with this info display but haven't pulled the dash apart to see how many conductors are going to the clock. I'm assuming the info display has CAN bus connections?

Part number 83290-35090
$420
"4Runner accessory gauge panel"

The 3rd gen Tacoma and 200 series Cruiser display everything on the center screen of the instrument cluster like the late model 4Runner, my guess is Toyota is trying to standardize the functionality across their 4WDs.

Ya this specific display (in blue) only came on the 2014 Trail models, which is why it's so rare. The 2010-2013 Trail models also came with this, but in orange, which matched the interior theme of that time.

Perfect, thanks for the link bud. looks like it's better to get brand new tft screen? and the harness is made by a guy on here?

I don't know about better, just quicker than scouring the interwebs/salvage yards. $350'ish seems to be the going rate for new.

Yes, the OP is making them. tTey've received great reviews so far

Got mines on order, just need to find a display...
