First time that I have heard of that place, the best place that I have found to do some moderate off-road riding is Green Ridge State Forest in W.Md.
The trails are fairly open and there are some nice overlooks w/good scenery.
If you need more info. on Green Ridge let me know, I know the place pretty good.

It`s perfect for the novice, that's why I like it and you don`t have to worry about destroying your new truck. The trails are mostly old fire roads that are open and everything is pretty easy to navigate. We have a camper up there on a permanent site (campground) and have been going up there for over 20 years. It`s about a two hour drive from the Baltimore area. They have remote camping spots all over the place(must sign in at ranger station) or you could camp at Little Orleans Campground which is right next to the State Forest(pull in sites rv and tent sites) they also have a few cabins you can rent. The owners are good people. The best ORV trail is the East Valley Rd/Stafford Rd. loop approx. 18miles long, but there are lots of other trails to explore. If you need more info. let me know. I threw in a few links that may help you out.

Thank you! Stupid question: the 18 mile long trails, could we turn around and head back anytime, or is it oneway only? If im going just for the trails, is there a specific entrance i take and what is the cost? Thanks again

No cost to just use the trails, you can enter from any of the roads and the only direction control is for atv`s and dirt bikes, trucks can go any direction.
If your in the area a stop in the World famous Bills store/bar is a must. I have spent some quality time in there.

Make sure you have a trail map, most of the trails are marked so you should not have a problem.

I just drove through GRSF this past weekend and want to do a deeper drive through. Anyone interested in a meet this weekend 1/8-9 or 1/15-14 to go driving around the trails?

I could be interested in the weekend of 1/14-1/15, The truck goes into the shop tomorrow for some front end repair, and I should (hopefully) have it back in a week or so. I am in DC.

Jesse, thanks for the heads up man!

Hey guys, I'm down for either weekend. The weekend of the 15th would prob be better bc my 4R's in the shop this week, getting a face lift :thumb3: (smashed up my front end bumper pretty good)

that sucks man. you getting an after-market bumper on?

I said this weekend would be best for me since I don't have my daughter this weekend. But if everyone wants to plan for Jan 15/16 I can make that happen too. lets make this happen!

Lets do it! Anyone down for camping Saturday night 1/15

Meet up saturday am at the park HQ. What do we need for camping? permit/location/etc. I've never camped at GRSF before. I've got a 4th gen but would love to see some of the 5th gens in action!

Who's in...
