Test drove a 2003 LC

It drove like a pig compared with my 2004 SE AWD V8. They are bigger and have more luxury but my 4runner feels like a sports car compared to the LC feeling like a big luxury car. I still want one some day but the 4runner is quicker, sportier, better mpg and the 4runner body style looks great, but so does the LC. I think if I bought a LC it would have to be a 2004 or newer. That way it has all of the up graded fluids along with the 5 speed transmission which cuts down on the maintance costs. Saw a 2004 in Vegas for around $42K with 24K miles on it. So I would have to pony up about $17K to drive the LC. That would be nuts right???

Ok.....so the Cruiser is cool. But that is about all it has going for it over the 4Runner. Sure the interior might be a little bit nicer depending on the trim level of the Runner, but 17k nicer? I doubt it. Dont get me wrong, I love Cruisers, but I am more of an FJ80 guy than the newer ones. I liked them when they had solid axles and three lockers. Now if you could buy one of them new with the straight 6 and a straight axle, it might be worth it. But this is all just my opinion.

You're still not decided yet?!! Any TLC100 before 2006 will feel like a pig next to your 4runner.
