Texas 4runner meet up?

Just wanted to see how many 4runners there are on here from Texas, and see if anyone would want to meet up for a trail ride. Or maybe just meet on a Sunday afternoon, talk shop, compare mods and maybe drink a few beers! I am located in the DFW area. Let me know!

Fort Worth here.

I'd like to check out some mods to get a better idea of the direction I want to take with my stocker. Not to mention, I love beer and good beer at that. Speakng of beer, I could really go for an imperial stout right about now!

Yes! I am SO down! I'm in Austin, but would love to meet up with some other Runners, and go trail riding. (And i woudn't say no to a beer either)

If you guys get something put together, let me know. I am just east of Dallas. We can hit Bridgeport one day, or better yet, you guys need to sign up for the Jamboree in January.

JSMarine, you are good at getting trail rides put together, so - what do you think?

Mr. Leary?? You there, what do you think? A DFW meet for 4runners? Maybe meet at the next Toyota of Dallas swap meet and then hit some local trails afterward?

Im signed up for the Jamboree, and Mr. Leary is the man for putting together trail rides. He knows of more places to go than I do, hopefully he will chime in here pretty soon.

And for those that are interested, here is the jambo website: Lone Star Toyota Jamboree | January 15th - 17th 2010, Gilmer, Texas |

Ack. Sorry for the late reply, gents. I don't come around here real often.

I would be happy to put together a meet and greet or trail run in the area, but first would like to guage some interest in what kind of trails people would be interested in...

Hidden Falls is probably the best park in Texas right now, given that it has not suffered the erosion isses of BMRA.

Bridgeport is close to DFW, but I have watched its deterioration every time I go out there. Its pretty tore up at this point, and our trail selection would be smaller. Back when I was helping them build the trails, it was a nicer place to wheel.

We could just meet up at the Jamboree or have a truck specific trail run or something... just thinking out loud here.

Those that are going to the jambo, what day and time are you planning on arriving? I plan on arriving friday morning, probably around 10am.

Planning on being there friday morning as well, unless I get too busy at work. Will not know for sure until the week of... but definitely sometime friday.

I will be there no later than noon on Friday. Why don't we plan on meeting at the Pavillion around noon for those of us going.
