Hi guys, Even Steven here. Just wanted to let you all know that I haven't been around because Thai banned me after a silly little debate in which he was proven wrong.

Instead of admitting that he was wrong, he banned me and deleted all of my posts that proved him wrong. That's pretty much exactly what he does all the time to avoid looking like a fool when he spouts his BS in the forum. Pathetic if you ask me, but hey, Koz knows exactly what I'm talking about when it comes to dealing with Thai and his little rants. Thai is a pathetic little man who gets his rocks off by having the authority to ban people from an Internet message forum after he starts kicking and screaming like a two-year-old.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know why I haven't been around because Thai managed to make it look like I disappeared. He could of at least put "banned" under my username so that people knew that I was banned, but I suspect he didn't want people questioning why I was banned, especially considering his own track record of acting like a know-it-all and immature baby on the forum.

If anyone hasn't seen Thai in action, just search his posts where he argues with Koz.

Koz is almost always correct when he argues with Thai, but he has to walk on eggshells to avoid being banned by the nazi moderator Thai. LOL.

I suspect Thai has authority issues in his real life, so he feels the need to have control on this forum. Thai, does your wife wear the pants in your family? It wouldn't surprise me at all.

Well you know I agree with Even Steven on this, though I haven't always agreed with his approach on some posts. He shouldn't of been banned.

Thai does come across as a gestapo, and sometimes as a kid. I remember once when he banned someone (forget the name), and for really no good reason, other than a disagreement between a few folks. So let's solve the problem and ban him! How immature!

I'm a member (like many of us) of several boards, and man I've seen some real fights break out! But banning someone?! No. I don't care how bad the fight of disagreement was, no reason to ban.

I vote to have Even Steven back. His contibutions to this board are as valuable as anyones.

It just kind of rubs me the wrong way, that's all.

In fact, if Even Steven is not allowed back with full posting privilages, this will be my last post as well.

It's just a matter of principle.

Anyone care to guess what that means? I've had it under my username (Even Steven) for the longest time before I was banned.

No one else has asked, so I will. I give up. What does it mean? Good to see you back you Odd Eddie Even Steven you. I enjoy reading everyones posts, esp. ones who are willing to put their experiences here. I don't think anyone should get bent out of shape if someone calls BS, but should see it only as another point of view. Like wise, it's sad though that it's an option to ban someone willing to stand up for what they believe. So I remain an objective sideline viewer and just wish we could all get along...knowing that it's likely we can't. Agree to disagree and move on. Now with that said, I'm going out to clean my air filter in preperation for wheeling tmrw. Thanks to everyone for their contributions to this excellent forum!

Well I don't know what to say at this point. Thai always had a problem with anyone who disagrees with him. That's well-known by many regulars on this forum.

If you guys actually read the thread that got me banned, you'd be really surprised that Thai acted so incredibly immature. We were debating about a 4Runner that was stuck in the sand. I simply said that the 4Runner in the video must have had a problem with its ATRAC because there were no signs of it working at all. Thai gave me all kinds of reasons why I was wrong. Then someone posted to tell us that the 4Runner in question was a foreign market model and that it was not equipped with ATRAC. I think it was from Venezuala if I remember correctly.

Before I knew it, Thai permanently banned me over that silly little debate. Pathetic and very disappointing, but I guess I shouldn't be so surprised, based on his actions in the past.

Oh, I'm quite sure I'll be banned again as soon as Thai logs on. I'm actually surprised that this username has lasted this long!

Either way it doesn't matter, I just wanted to let everyone know that I didn't drop of the face of the earth. My disappearance is 100% because of Thai.

Well I wondered why I have never been able to answer your PM about the mist mod caps. It always came up with the message that you weren't receiving PMs! So I tried to answer you by your email and got the same answer. Several of us have been wondering whats up but no one is talking. Mind you it doesn't say you are banned it just says you aren't accepting ANY messages. It seems to me you were one of the spark plugs keeping that mod going.

I actually started a thread about that mod, if you remember. Then Kmvreter had to start a new one when mine mysteriously disappeared. Go figure!

While I have the time did you ever get the mod done? I know Spider did his but beyond that have heard nothing. If they hold to this your knowledge base will be missed.

I didn't do it yet, but I plan definitley plan to do it. I actually got a hold of two caps that are perfect except that they are not bipolar. I'd like to try one out, but it's not easy to determine pos/neg from the board schematic.

Did you try Digikey? I put it in the old thread. Ya gotta use the bipolar cap, no exceptions.

But why no exceptions? If I can determine the + and - of the original cap, I don't see why I can't just install one of the caps that I have in my garage. Do you think only a bipolar cap will work? Why?
