Just wanted to give a big thank you to everyone on this forum! Not only is this forum fun to read and chat with other 4Runner owners, but it has saved me a ton of money! The recommendation on my extended warranty alone saved me over a thousand dollars. This forum just makes owning the 4Runner that much better!

I've also found these forums to be extremely helpful, friendly, and very quick to answer questions. It's also useful to use them if you see something happen on your truck and your not sure if that's "normal" or not. lol. I've also been given a heads up to look at other things that other owners experience. (ie the headlight defect) Anytime you have a group of fun people who collaborate well, anything can happen.

These forums are a great resource!

Did you have a warranty issue already, or did you save money in purchasing the extended? Interested to know what broke, if anything.....

Nothing broke. The finance manager wanted to sell me a 6 year 125k warranty for $3000. I asked if he would match $1019 quoted from the guy in Kansas. He then cam down to $2000. I passed at the dealership and went through the guy in KS.
