I plan to purchase this runner today!

I have one question though: If I were to take off the front and rear "bumper guards" would it leave physical damage to the exterior of the truck? Or in other words, does the installation of these parts require drilling into the bumpers/body of the truck?

No, most of them are just bolted on with existing holes or brackets. It might leave a mark if any part of that gaurd actually lean on a body part though.

Perfect. I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't leave a hole in the body or bumper of the car. The picture of the rear one looks like it might have been drilled into the side of the car. Know what I mean?

Yeah I am definitely planning on keeping em on the car. I was just thinking way ahead into the future in case I wanted to sell the car.

Well leaving them on at the time of selling might add value to the right buyer, alot of people do like those grill gaurds. :

I personally think brush bars are silly. I'd take them off and replace it with either a center protector or bull bar instead. If you hit something, the entire brush guard may cause more damage. But to each, his own. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy your new truck!

A center protector is like the center portion of a brush bar WITHOUT the headlight portions (you can still use them to mount aux lights though).

A bull bar is something along this line...

I'm still on the fence whether those brush bars actually do any good for the lens housings though. I mean it would be a lucky shot if something were to just hit that specific area alone without damaging the surrounding body panels. Don't mean any disrespect or offense, just skeptical as to their actual practical value. Don't mind me.

Completely agree. Imagine this: A car backs into you going 5 mph. Instead of doing damage just to the front bumper, the brush guard will be slammed against the headlights, front grill, hood, etc., causing much more damage. They offer no protection at all. Take them off and sell them.

Those don't hold up to "hits" either especially off road but better on the street than full brushguard.
