The 4runner Is Back!***with pics***

GOT IT BACK HOOD LOOKS FANTASTIC!

but i did have some problems with other stuff...

-my viper alarm doesn't work right (remote i think needs to be reprogrammed)

-my subs/amp/cap dont work(i think it may be the fuse but it seemed alright)

-there are bubbles in the tint.

as for the rest of the mods i had planned:

i couldnt quite install the pedals gonna need some longer bolts.

my leds, the wires from the dome light come down to the fuse box i have located the colors (i think its blue/yellow stripe and green/black stripe) but they just go into a plug with a million other wires and i have no idea which fuse controls them>>>> any help?

btw ill post some pics when i finish up all these mods in the next couple of days

Dude it looks amazing! Man... seeing this makes me miss my 02.. lol

I notice your stock pale green gauge lighting, any plans for an LED swap?

Gotta love the sport hood and the LED footwells. I agree that you should change the gague lighting.

So how did you wire your footwells? Did you use the LED strips from Ozinum? Was it hard?

I still don't understand why you would go with rims like that on a 4 runner though......seems to defeat the purpose of having a 4 runner, doesn't it? Maybe on a cadillac, but on a vehicle designed for off-road use?

This has been discussed a thousand times before. It's his 4runner and he can do what he wants to do with it.

I'm pretty sure he still has the stock rims so he could always put those back on and go off-road if he wanted to.

Some people prefer a nice looking clean vehicle and it's his vehicle which means he can do whatever he wants to do it. Not everyone who owns a 4Runner is into offroading, and just because you own a 4Runner does not mean you have to offroad, the 4Runner is an excellent daily driver.

haha i wired the led ribbon strips from oznium to the dome light (they only work when the doors open (not with the switch)

not bad actually

and yes, its a possibility, i have thought to change all the lighting to be like a cool white, but i have no idea where to start.

looks Great Especially with the sport hood!!! oh by the way Move are you running hids in your fog lights? i wanted to put some yellow hids in mine....

nooo thats on the list of things to do, they are luminics pureblue, they are alright but i am deff goonna get some 10k's to match yellow fogs look sick, i may consider them

Real nice! The Hood looks sooooo nice, i am jealous.

I know that the dealers are the only place with the internals for the bulge hood but did you get the actual hood from a dealer too, or from a parts place. I was wondering because I was interested to see if there is any difference between the dealers hood and the aftermarket scoop hood in fit or quality. Thanks

lol im afraid i have a slight advantage my friend,

that first picture is the dealership i work at. i got it all the pieces from my parts department for around 300 but it runs around 5-600 reg price :/

they are pretty pricey but when you have the envy... ohhhh boyyy you will give in eventually :p

Thanks, must be nice.

The price I got was around $110 for just the hood from a body parts wholesaler and at least double that price for the dealers hood.

My friend at our dealership gave me $125 for the rest of the parts (bulge, etc). Does that sound good?

I think ill probably order the hood from the dealer too just to make sure everything fits really nice like yours. Although getting everything but paint for $235 bucks sounds good too.

If you all are wanting to upgrade to HID's for the fogs you'll have to get some Hella Micro DE's, the HID bulb is too big for the OEM fogs.

now that fosheez mentioned it, i really wanna upgrade my dash and ac lighting to leds.

ive searched some and it seems as though almost every year is different, can anyone give me details on a 2000 and what sizes/how many of each i would need?
