The 4th gen TRD PRO wheel picture thread

How do you like the K02's? Thinking that might be my next tire. I had the old version on my jeep and they were pretty good and I've only heard good things about the new ones.

So far they have been a good tire, not as much road noise as I was expecting with them either. They actually ride better than the stock Bridgestone's that came on the truck. And obviously give the truck a more aggressive look.
Another tire I've been hearing good things about are the Nitto Terra Grapplers, but I haven't personally ran them so I can't say one way or another on them.

I just got these wheels and tires installed today and I had to go test them out on the trails. I love how these look and feel, I couldn't be happier.

Is a lift and/or spacers required for these wheels on the sport edition?

I had just installed a lift prior to installing the wheels and tires. The wheels themselves wouldn't require a lift or spacer, it all depends on what size tires you plan to run. My tire size (275/70/17) do rub slightly on the fenders, I need to push them in a little. wheels spacers will help push the wheels out a little which will make them flush with the fenders.

Got these done this week. It was time for new tires and I went ahead and swapped the Limited wheels with the grey TRD Pro ones. Had to remove the front mud flaps and trim a bit, but I am very happy with how they turned out!

Does anyone have Gray T4R with the gray wheels ? I want to get an idea of what it would look like. Can't decide between black and gray...

I have a 08 Urban Runner. Should I have any problems installing these? They should fit fine? And I believe I can use my OEM lug nuts from my other wheels?

Im trying to decide where to buy them. I have found a few OEM parts stores, Amazon, Toyota of Dallas TRD shop.
Any recommendations as to who to buy from.

My 4runner is black. Not sure if I want to go with the gray or black wheels?

That truck is looking so good man. I usually don't like chrome on the 4runners , but that chrome grill in the first pic you posted looks perfect on the truck . I'm on the fence right now wether to just get bigger tires for my 18" limited wheels or get the trd wheels and new tires . I gotta see how much extra money I have when the time comes .

My 2004 4Runner went through 3 different rims. I really like the TRD pros the best.

I had the limited rims on but once I found out the pros were available for purchase I got rid of the limited.

I have 265/65/17 tires and would hate to replace them since they are only about 6 months old? Would any suspension work be needed to fit these?

Along the same lines, my SR5 has 16" wheels. Are the 17" TRD Pro wheels a direct bolt on, as just swap the wheels? Thanks!

Your tires would fit perfect. The only difference is the TRD Pro wheels are a half inch narrower which is not very noticeable, and they have a positive offset, so your wheels will sit wider about even with the fenders. They won't rub at all with your current tires, but if you get a more aggressive tire like mine posted above, you'll have to modify your fender liner and take off the front mud flaps.

And yes, these are 17" wheels and would work with the tires you have.

I have a 2006 Sport Shadow Mica, and I'm leaning toward grey. I just bought my wife a 2014 Porsche Cayman, so I think I can buy anything I want for my T4R for at least the next few months.

I have a 2003 limited 4wd and was considering putting on the graphite trd pro wheels (it's black) Mods include a camburg entry level lift, so its got bilstein 5400s all around with camburg uca's. Camburg reccomends 285/70/17 tires. could i fit these under it without rubbing? Im looking for the edge of the wheels to line up with the edge of the fender. Thanks!
