The 4th gen TRD PRO wheel picture thread

Has anyone had these mounted with non-TPMS valve stems? I just got a set on Black Friday and I really don’t want to spend the money for new TPMS stems.

I do not have TPMS on mine. Zero issues. You'll want to disable your TPMS so you don't have to look at the stupid light all the time.

Alternatively, if you already have wheels with TPMS, why not just transfer the stems to your new wheels. Most tire shops will do it for like $25 per wheel.
 
I put wheels and tires on my Tundra about a year ago and didn't want to transfer the original TPMS sensors in case I wanted to remove the new wheels and put the originals back on.

I researched the correct part number and got a set of 4 off ebay for 55.00. I took those to Discount Tire where I bought the tires and they installed them when mounting the tires. They also have the programmer to program the new TPMS sensors to your vehicle and they do that for free.

So this may be an option for you if you want sensors without moving the originals.
 
Perfect! Thanks guys. I’m keeping my factory wheels and tires and don’t want to have to pay to remove the sensors and remount/balance the factory wheels/tires. Plus they’re 10+ years old, so they’re reaching the end of their service life. I plan to disable the TPMS.

I know this question has been ask a 1000 time, here it goes again. Can I install 265/70/17 on stock suspension with no lift? Will it rub? 2006 4runner sr5 4wd, currently have 265/65/17.

It will rub, but just barely. My daughter ran hers for a few weeks before getting the lift. They only rubbed in reverse at full lock, like when back out of a parking space. We just shifted the fender liner forward a bit. Of course, this depends on the tire...

Will the 1.5" leveling kit stop the rubbing or 2" lift kit needed?

Just got my set of grey TRD 17' Wheels with winter tires Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 265/65/17 with the stock suspension.

Let me know what you guys think.

Just bought a set of black ones for my white '08 Limited!

I've got a 2.5"/1.5" Daystar on my Xreas and am hoping I can squeeze some 255/75r-17's on without any rubbing?

Anyone care to weigh in?

Currently have the stock 265/60r-18's on and what appears to be a LOT of room in the wheel wells...
