One of my friends’ dads was also a pegboard guy but it was all wrong. Tools were hung in a way that made no sense at all, and to top it off he had spray painted the whole wall with the tools hanging there. The idea was that if a tool was removed its outline was visible in unpainted peg board, instantly calling attention to the fact that it was missing. It was a good thought, but as the tools hung a little away from the board the outlines were fuzzy, and then there was the matter that all the tools were painted. On only one side. It really annoyed my teenaged self.

I assume I am the only one on this board who ever let their garage get out of control……..

I would guess that every organized garage was preceded by a mess. I finally broke down and organized my shop when I was going out to buy stuff I knew I already owned, but couldn’t find in all the clutter.
