The Beast Meets Denali

Thought that you boys and girls would enjoy seeing a couple pics from our a trip to Mt. Denali/Mckinley today

Nice pics of Denali. You don't always get a clear view as you get closer to the mountain base. Is most of the snow already gone between Talkeetna and Cantwell? Seems like Spring is never going to break out here in Anchorage.

Were you able to drive into Denali Park?

we were able to see the mountain for most of the day. we traveled to milepost 132 then turned around as the Princess lodge deck was closed till May 19. We had a good view of the mountain the whole day. Got 20 MPG over 320 miles to and from Eagle River. Long winter for sure......

What a sight!
Early season is always nice and quiet, no touritsts. The draw back is that not everything is open yet.

Did you change over to the Pirelli's?

Yes. Changed over the Hakka's to the ATR's 2 weeks ago. after a winter with the studs the Scorpions are smooth as butter.........your ride looks v. fine Rook.
