I need help.. I am new to this toyota 4runner addiction. I went from a 2009 mazda 6 with 48k miles on it, put them on all myself, and now I went to a 1998 4runner 4cyl, manual with 235k. I am nervous of owning a used car with so many miles on it. What is making me concerned the most is that I am getting ready for the winter and wanted to know what are some things I should do to make sure she starts every morning.

Welcome! Since you have a 98 so you may want to move this thread to 3rd Gen forums. They are very knowledgable, as are the people on this forum on all things 4Runner. However, getting your 3rd gen Runner winterized may be different than 1st and 2nd gen Runners.
