The Donkey Rebuild Thread

As some of you know already, last Thursday I rear ended someone on the way home. It was heavy traffic and I went to change lanes, everyone in front slammed on their brakes. Boom.
SO anyway, later that day I found out that I was not fully covered. So instantly I searched for a donor. I found one luckily and set off to work. Here is the beginning of the rebuild.

The donor truck had 230,000 miles on it and was a 1996

I picked up some extra goodies like a "new" center console cover, alternator, and rear spoiler.
Complete list includes-
-A/C Condenser
-Both headlight assemblies
-Front grill
-Front bumper
-Center console cover
-Rear spoiler assembly
-Alternator

On to work

Eventually we got to the point where we knew some things needed to bend back into it's place. So we grabbed a good ol' ratchet strap and attached one in to my dad's 5th gen. After a few tries it was looking better.

Just wondering what was the problem with the donor truck?

As far as I could tell, nothing was really wrong with it. It just sounded like the owner was parting it out to get back at the loan company. You could tell that he hated to have to do it.
