Well Ladies and Gents, the time with my beloved 4runner has come to an end. Its been a great ride and Ill love that truck forever but it was time to move on.
With the wife and I starting a family and a lot of costs coming up on the 4runner we decided after many great and painful discussions that it was time to part ways with the 4runner. The story isn't totally bad. We bought a new Honda Pilot EX-L. A responsible and sensible car it is but it sure aint a 4runner. It rides nice and gets great mpg and honda really does engineer the crap out of their cars.
So the point of this post is to say thanks. Thanks for the advice, the pictures and ideas of mods to do to my 4runner. The pictures and mods that made me uber jealous and wish i could afford to do to my 4runner and the general sense that everyone on this forum genuinely cares about their vehicle. Its been a great time. Ill always remember the 4runner. I did a lot with it and went a lot of places and I'm pretty sure Ill never own a vehicle as great as my 2005 4runner. I can't say for certain if Ill stay active on the forum but I might try...have you seen the forums for honda pilots? eek. I guess I'm at a different point in my life than I thought I would be when I bought the truck but I'm sure glad I did.
