I think for that size there is nothing good for under $160 or so...I think...dunno much about tires. I think ( I am not sure tho) the Pirellis , Cooper LTZ's and the Hankook Dynapro's are about the same price for that size

I was reading this article.. The more a read....the more I learn but at the end still not able to sitck 100% with any in particular.

Hey Thanks for the input again..And yeah those are the ones I tought for the very very first time a long time ago...but then got into the research mode and started considering other brand and models...I know they are very good...the only thing is I am not diggin the way they look. But they are on the table for consideration.

When I told you I was going to post pics...I was hoping you would catch on the the Hankooks I replaced the Duncraps with. I posted something about two weeks ago about the value of the Hankooks. I had Revos on my previous '01 Taco, and two sets of BFG TA/TA Ko's on my '92 exra cab. I paid more for those sets back then than I did for my present Hankooks, and the performance is UNBELIEVABLE!!! so far!

I have the 265/70/17 and they are seriously fantastic. If you want a more highway friendly tire, I would also look at the Kumho SAT KL-61. It was my second choice.

No sweat, right now i have the michelin x-terrains i believe. I actually just got my runner about 2 months ago and already have a good list of mods i want. I like the goodyear silent armors alot though. They are on one of the vehicles I drive at work and so far they have been GREAT!

I've used the Toyo Open Country AT's as well and liked them nearly as much as the Yokos. Couldn't notice much difference. Definitely a top 5% tire on the mass market and within a reasonable price.

I know MIchellins are good but I am not a fan of the white letters ...My brother has them on his Explorerand they perform good. ... I want something with a little more agressive look. They look nice tho' ..thanks for the input.

Back up Lights

Trying to figure out how to mount these as back ups. Dont want to mount them at the bottom of the bumper because the Hitch step is in the way of the light out put.

I dont want to remove the hitch step ....So thinking of mounting them under the hitch step somehow...

Delay on Wheels and tires upgrade

I am a little upset...there is a delay on my upgrade...I am gonna have to give another 3-4 ...maybe 5 more weeks to be able to purchase the set I want....

Well...not really...it is the $$ factor..I am short for a few $100's I could go for a cheaper set of rims or go with 18"s instead of 20"s but I dont want to buy something I am not gonna be 100% satisfied with...so I rather wait a few more weeks.

Now...I saw another set of rims that I really like besides the ones I already picked...they are around $40 less per rim ....but those are also not available until the middle of april.

These are going to be install under my hitch step as backups..
.They are LEDs ..I know the light output goes straigh to where they point to.....but I hope they help....Lets see!
