Sorry for the mis information on my part. I fat fingered the number while searching.
You are correct 89452-35030 is NOT available through Toyota Parts.
Toyota should make these available though since it does have a part number.

Don't know if this is real, there one available on eBay.

It won't be. The Taco guys have bought these from Ali Baba and Taiwan like this one and they are either 3 pin instead of 4 pin or they don't have the right innards.

Lots of part numbers sadly aren't available. :[ As these rigs get order our part supplies will get smaller. I have even found that some of the cross member bolts are gone. That one really surprised me as bolts and nuts should always be available.

Also, when parts go not available or discounted, the After market should be able to supply them but that is not how it always go.

Toyota is better then most mfg. I seen vehicles less then 10 years old you cant get some parts for..:[

Truth. Tried to get rear hatch struts for the old gal and Toyota has them on national backorder. So the pieces are slowly fading out. I was still able to get the front seat foam tho...any interior fabric is gone though.

so, are you saying that 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2008 4runners have the same throttle body? trying to decipher this.

that is what hardware stores are for. while you arent getting the OE spec'd bolt, usually you can buy something close enough grade.

dodge is notoriously bad for this on certain models. my roommate couldnt get a part for his 04 ram because the guy behind the parts counter said they stop making certain parts after so many years. as much as i love hemis, i wont buy a vehicle i cant get parts for.

No. August 2000 and on only for the 3.4. The new model year starts somewhere around there...so for 4Runners...maybe a few 2000 cars at the end of that year's production and then all 2001 and 2002.

Pin3 to Pin4 = (before) 1.80k

Ohms when rotated (open):
Pin1 to Pin2 = (before) 950
Pin1 to Pin3 = (before) 1.91k
Pin1 to Pin4 = (before) 105
Pin2 to Pin3 = (before) 1.98k
Pin2 to Pin4 = (before) 870
Pin3 to Pin4 = (before) 1.80k

Sorry, no "after cleaning" numbers. I really don't know if I could put it back together if I took it apart to clean. Maybe if I can find a sacrificial spare somewhere...

Mike, I had a bad TPS from a 2003 3.4L Tundra that uses the same throttle assembly. Followed your post, cleaned the 4 pin TPS, reassembled, and it seems to work fine now. The only thing I had to do different was to use RTV to reseal the lid. Thanks for that post.
