I'm looking to buy a dash kit for tan interior , silver, carbon fiber or a dark wood kit like Japanese Cherry, I already have silver sport pedals and I'm going for the sport look, so the silver is my 1st choice carbon fiber 2nd then wood grain, what suggestions do you buys have?

id go w/ silver like on the sport edition 4runners, or carbon fiber just because ive never seen a 4runner with it yet.

yea i have woodgrain and always though it would be nice, but it kind of grows old on you after awhile.

With your sport theme, i would go with the carbon fiber kit. In my opinion, it would look nice and would match with the interior.

Silver will definitely go well with your theme. I have wood grain in mine and actually painted the gauge cluster bezel, climate control cover, shifter bottom, and tweeter grills silver. It flows nicely with my h/u and XM plug and play. IMO you can't go wrong with the silver especially in your rig.

I have ruled out wood grain completely so it's still a toss up between silver and carbon fiber...new thought what about silver carbon fiber? best of both worlds

Dang. Everyones a little harsh aren't we? Anyways, i've painted my dash black and the center part is white, and it looks really good. But i do see that the white might look bad with the tan interior. BUt as for mine it looks cool

you could always color match your dash w/ the exterior paint like this guy did. my vote is for the carbon fiber though.

The brushed aluminum and carbon fiber stick on dash pieces are complete dog sh!t. Had them on my 99. Do not waste your time or money with those.

Have you seen the 2002 SPORT ED dash panels? Something to consider if you can find a set for cheap.

Take note of the piece surrounding the gauges and ignition panel.
