The Josh's Build Thread

You sir, have the sickest & most badass 4th Gen I've ever seen... One day I hope mine will look something like that.

hey man thanks!!!

its a work in progress as im sure you know very well haha

i actually had one punk in a black 4th gen hatin on me down in pismo, talking crap about my ride, i just ignored him, he was on some serious dope or something, he was acting a complete fool down there

It's coming along great!

Any big plans ahead?

thanks!

yes actually there are...

i have the optima blue top, west coast battery mount, and national luna dual battery kit in my living room now, ill probaby wire them up this weekend, i also have my new edgestar fridge that ill wire up to a fuse block in the rear, this friday im going down to a muffler place to get the stock muffler removed and a magnafow one installed with a bottom dump and then as soon as andries and mark release the new radflo suspension setup ill be buying that and installing it, excited!!!

now that i just bought a tundra for work, the 4runner can be undisturbed with projects and i wont have to worry about putting it all back together by mondays to get ready for work

Sounds awesome. Their Radflo setup looks very promising.

I think I have decided on the kit sold by Dirty Parts, but I am still going back and forth between the Yellow Top and Blue Top. What made you decide to go with the Blue?

Do you have any links for the battery tray you are using? I wish the National Luna kit came with one.

yeah i went with the national luna one cause i saw sid's setup and that battery monitor is pretty trick, i have the yellow top as my main battery cause it has deep cranking and high cycle, and its really good for powering accesories like my stereo system and aux lighting, and after talking to several guys at a trusted local speed shop i decided to go with the blue top as my aux battery because it is a marine type deep cycle perfect for a aux battery setup when im running a yellow as a main battery, it also has the extra set of post to mount all my other accessories like compressor, fridge etc etc..

here is the link for the battery tray i got...

i went with the welded steel hold down, it runs about $60

yeah the radflo setup is really trick, i saw marks truck in action in pismo and im completely on board!!

oh and i forgot one more mod coming in the next few weeks, i ordered budbuilds new diff cover in orange to match my skids, so i should have that soon...

new bajarack and light cage to protect my 170's

ill post better pics tomorrow once i wash my truck
