The Josh's Build Thread

Hey Josh what RPM are you running at highway speeds with the 4.88s? I'm going to run 35's soon and i'm up in the air if i should go with 4.56 or 4.88 for gearing.

drew what are you doing over here?!?!

haha let me hop on the freeway and tell ya, i forget....

your a 06' so that has the 5 speed tranny right? i think phil has the 5speed and he went 4.88's also, i have the 4 speed.

i would say go 4.88 all the way, its only a 17% difference between 4.56 and 4.88 and youll have that much more prowess offroad :bravo:

nice, what size ring gear do our 4Runner's have?

3.73 stock gearing

For anyone that's curious about my RPM's at freeway speeds

at 63 MPH = 2,000 RPM
67 MPH = 2,250 RPM
76.5 MPH = 2,500 RPM

the_josh,

Dude...that ARB Fridge is gorgeous!!

Dave (DawgRunner) pulled out a gallon of ice cream out of that thing and I was shocked that it can keep the ice cream in solid form and shocked how deep that fridge is. Alyssa (Mark aka MCL_68) & I were Two Happy Campers eating ice cream haha

I may be one of the Minorities...but I like your Bright Orange looks. I may be bias, because I'm a San Francisco Giants fan!!

Nice additions! I really like that fridge. Wouldn't mind having one myself but I know I wouldn't use it enough to justify it. Be sure to post up pics of the install!

Who makes those rear trailing arms? I like the orange too! The fridge is awesome but $1000 for a refrigerator for my vehicle is just not in the cards for me. I guess you go on trips enough to pay for it though
