Okay ya'll, I'm 2, maybe 3 weeks away from purchasing my lift...

I need some advice though!!!

Toytec Ultimate lift or Sonoran Steel 1.2?

I'm so pumped that it's actually getting this close... Finally!

Both are good lifts. I really like the way the Sonoran Steel 1.2 rear works. I did my lift from two different vendors if you look at my sig you see what I have. I think it would have been better to get all 1.2 from Sonoran Steel. Since you know it comes set with the C-clip instead of having to play with the thread adjustement on the Toytec or All-Pro bilsteins like I am still doing a month later. Either way it will be such a ride difference and capability you will love it.

my vote is both lol. I would get the rear of the SS lift, and the coil overs from toytec for the front.

But if it was one kit or the other i'd go with toytec. Either way, cant wait to see it!

Snow, I freakin love you man...

I didn't even think of that!!! I just ordered my front coilovers from Toytec, they're backordered until Mid-June :bash: but it's better than nothing!

Woot! I'm excited, like a lil girl... lol

Congrats on your purchase man! That thing is going to look sweet. That set up is what i would call the "ultimate lift" It'll be worth the wait... thats only like what 3 weeks?

I can't wait for Kregg to do some more mods. I remember when I was just a forum browser getting ideas from people just like Kregg.

Haha, I lurked for a long time too... Saving money and spending money... As I get older though, it gets harder and harder to save... Where does it all go?!?!?

So yeah.... Scratch ordering the Toytec fronts...

I know this is getting old guys, but I want this to be right, the first time...

I talked with Steve @ Sonoran again today, (great guy btw) and he said that the performance differences in the Toytec coilovers and his front lift are minimal. They use basically the same shock, just different springs... After about a 30 min conversation, I'm going to get the whole shooting match from Steve... Keeps all my eggs in one basket, that way i'm not chasing down answers to any ?'s i have, and I know that Steve's kit works.

And so the saga continues... It's like a soap opera...

:bash:
Chris

Steve @ Sonoran Steel is out for vacation, my lift is first in line when he returns... I hate waiting... Sitting on a pile of cash is tough too...

I know the feeling. That is why when I ordered mine i had them charge the card when I ordered instead of waiting for it to be shipped before they ran it through. Wanted to make sure i didnt spend it while I was waiting. If you want the the same as teh Toytec coil overs up front look into the All-Pro they have them in stock. Otherwise the complete SS kit isnt bad way to go.

I think that's a good logic and from everything I've heard about Steve you'll be set if you have any questions about the lift after it's installed or whatever.
