Lift is being built this week...

Still can't pick a tire... Gah, I'm such a woman about making decisions...

Pumped about getting it done though!
 
My lift kit was delivered yesterday... It was like the best present I've ever received, aside from my "Big Wheel" of course...

And, Wow! Top quality parts, great customer service, fast shipping, Sonoran Steel is the way to go, bar none. Steve helped me out for about a year and a half, answering questions and helping me nit pick every other option. And this guy knows his stuff...

I'm planning on installing the kit myself, July 18th. I've ordered my tires and they will be waiting on me. Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs, 285/75/16 on my factory rims.

congrats on finally getting your lift and tires selected. can't wait to see how it turns out, but by the wound of it its gonna look fantastic!
 
Installed the fronts last night... Perfect fit and much better stance!

Planning on tackling the rears tonight, I have to be at work at 4 a.m. so I won't be able to stay up all night working on it... I may have to finish it after work on Saturday... We'll see how tough it is...

I will be getting my tires and alignment done at Expert Tire on Tuesday morning. My dad has always used this shop for his tires and has a lot of faith in them, we'll see...

Got the rear of the lift buttoned up Saturday after work, ran into a few snags with some broken bolts and such, but all is well...

My dad and younger brother helped me out and we did it all in the driveway, I was surprised that all I had to buy tool-wise was a 10mm flarenut wrench, to the tune of $18 at NAPA, ouch!

Anywho, here are the pics I have, it's parked next to my buddies 6" Lifted F-250 on 35's, so it looks kinda small, but next to a stock T4R its a beast! Enjoy...

Kregg can you do me a favor and measure front center of HUB to bottom of front fender and let me know the measurement. I have adjustables and want to see how far off I have them right now. or from ground to bottom edge of the fender opening and let meknow what size tire so I can adjust from there.

Do ya'll want me to measure before or after I get my new tires? I've got 265's right now, and Tuesday I'll have 285's...

And thanks for the props, it's been a long and winding road...
 
well either way. but if you measure the center of Hub to the fender it shouldnt matter what size tire you have but I would like with the 265's also. right now i still have the 265/70 myself and havnt been able to get larger tires

Cool, will do that tomorrow, and I've been saving for all this stuff for like 2 years, it sucks having to wait!
 
Yeah I got my runner last year and the only way I was able to get my lift was with the tax refund. that is why i have the lift and no tires to accompany it... oh well hopefully soon. Still havnt even found time to go finish my rear bumper but your truck is looking real good and keep your head up the build will come along.
 
22.75" From hub to fender well on the front, 25.75" from hub to fender well on the rear...

Is that what ya'll are looking for?
