Not my overland trip (sadly), but I spotted this great report and video over at reddit and Expedition Portal. There's a 2nd gen, a 3rd gen, and two 5th gens, so I think it fits in here.

We haven't been able to make a OOR event yet, but we're hoping to make the fall rally this year, since the spring rally is already filled up.

Thank you! Much appreciated. I made this video in hopes of inspiring others to get out and explore their own backyard, because that's all we did in this video and we discovered some beautiful county that we had no clue existed until we put some tires in the dirt.
