The Rav4 TRD radio knobs don't work on the 2020

I saw this on the Tacoma World forum and figured I'd give it a try on my 2020. It doesn't work. The pegs aren't the same between the 4Runner's radio and the other units, and even if the pegs were the same size, the Rav4 TRD knobs would still float far out in the air beyond the front of the radio. I figure this is the same on the 2021 and beyond for the foreseeable future, and I also figure it's the case for 2019 and earlier. I've seen the knobs on the earlier 4Runner radios, and they're larger. They might have different pegs, too.

I thought I'd let everybody know that I took the hit so you don't have to in case you were curious like me.

Not for 2020+, unfortunately. It still shows in the 2020+ section for some reason, but if you look at the photos it shows that it's for the larger knobs from previous years.

Don't go by the pictures -- often the pictures are just stock photos. They do have separate listings for the 2010 to 2019, and the 2020+ so I would contact them directly to see if they are really different. Also, the 2020+ can be "pre-ordered" for delivery in a couple of months. I read that as they are still in design/manufacturing.

The pictures show only the outside of the knobs. If there is a difference between earlier 4Runers and later 4Runners it would be the inside, i.e. how they attach to the shaft out of the radio.

Again, have you contacted AJT to specifically ask if they are different?
