Wiring method?

What is the preferred or required way of wiring these ballasts (35 watt version) into the 2014 4runner? It looks like the three options are 1) relay harness; 2) canbus harness; 3) no harness

Relay harness if you want it, but the 4runner runs just fine without a harness.

It's a pretty straight forward process. I highly recommend this TRS H11 kit. It took a little less than an hour from start to finish and is definitely worth it. Sure id like to do a full retrofit but for less than an hour of time and about $150 you can't go wrong. I'll try to take some pics and do a quick write up. You guys definitely need to jump on this group buy!

How is this compared to what is linked at the bottom. I assume the connectors is just plug n play as others have mentioned and not like the exception that i posted earlier?

Its way easier than using a harness, just plug the existing headlight plug into ballast, and plus wire coming out of ballast into bulb.

Pretty blue, 4300 would be less blue and more usable light and lumens. Compared to wife's Lexus with factory hids its a big difference in color, wife's is Philips 4300k bulb.

I have a 2014 limited and am trying to understand this upgrade to my headlights. What exactly is the HID upgrade? New lightbulbs to replace the factory bulbs? How Many bulbs and which bulbs are in this kit? Thanks so much and so sorry for the stupid questions...
