The Snow Came Early

Took a weeks vacation for Thanksgiving last week. Went to visit my sister and brother-in-law up in Enumclaw (E-Num-Claw) Washington. Got there last Friday the 19th and by Sunday it started to snow. It snowed all day Sunday and Monday and part of Tuesday. It got down to 14 degrees at night a few times with a high about 25 for a few days also. 9 inches of snow in town total.

I ended up taking a drive with my brother-in-law on some old logging roads in the snow. Nothing to serious at 4x4'in but I did find something up in the booger woods by Mount Rainier.

Look like you had a good early snow expedition..and what's up with what looks like a burnt Tacoma?

That's a beautiful picture of Mt. Rainier, on a good clear sky it's really visible from up the mountains here in Vancouver.

The burned Tacoma was probably stolen and dumped out where we found it. My brother-in-law Tracy, said he has see numerous stolen vehicles dumped out in the woods, picked clean and then burned. As you can see in the pictures most of the Tacoma was stripped. The rear end and transmission was removed. Maybe the only thing that was any good was the spare tire under the bed. But the Tacoma was laying on the frame right next to the ground so I could not even tell.

I just assume to leave things like this alone. No telling what happened to the Tacoma and the police are keeping an eye on it because they already tagged it and I sure don't want to get into trouble with the law by taking something off a stolen rig.

The picture of Rainier was taken from the bedroom I stay in while I am visiting. Had the my wide angle lens on telephoto that why it looks so close. I think I have a picture of Rainier without telephoto that I will post so you can see what the normal view is.
