Hey guys,

This is my first year living in Newfoundland and its getting to the time where we're going to start getting hit with multiple feet of snow. I work at a Jeep Dodge dealership and many people are starting to come in to buy winter tires. The roads here are alittle rough and VERY hilly, I'd say about 70 percent of people so far have bought studded tires. The tires I have on my rig now are getting close to the end of their life, what I would like to do is buy one set that could do me good in both winter and summer driving and some mild off road ( logging roads with some small rocks ).
I'm going to do a suspension lift in the spring when I have more time, so for now I figured I'd just do a 2 inch body lift to get me a larger size tire so I dont have to buy tires twice.

Whats the largest and best aggressive looking tire I can fit without the lift?

For snow? Cooper tires discoverer atr. Id go with 265/75 if u plan to stay stock or 285/75 if u lift. If you want a really aggressive tire, go with cooper STT or good year duratrac. The atr is more of a snow tire

They'll be decent in loose snow, but will be really good in packed snow. This is basically the same story with all those off-road tires..

Goodyear Duratrac is rated for severe winter weather and come ready to be studded. I have no idea how tire studs are installed but maybe you can get them studded for winter and remove the studs for summer?

I had Cooper Discover on my Tundra for years. Here in New England where we get all kinds of snow...wet, dry, slush, hardpack....you name it, and I always had great luck with the Coopers. Never got stuck. Goodyears on the 02 SR5 I'm now driving and thinking about making the switch before snow comes. So if there are any Cooper reps on here that want to give me a deal...let me know
