I just saw the above mentioned movie and found something pretty funny. As the movie opens, you're in a front seat of car looking out the windshield, driving through city streets. A big caption pops up saying "Brooklyn, NY. 1986" after which the car makes a turn and you see a 3rd gen 4Runner parked on the side of the street.
I laughed but then found other car models that weren't around at that time as well. I suppose that's how low budget movies go about it. Nothing worth renting though.
