The tabs for offroad lights

I was just wondering how u take a tab off, so I can put in my offroad light switch? It doesn't fit perfect so I dont want to break the tab...I wanna see if I can cut a hole in one of the tabs to place the switch in it a place it back in. Has anyone done this?

they just pop out toggle switchs work fine drill a small hole and done

Pull off the interior fuse cover, reach up and push them out from the back, and yes you can drill them out and put a switch in...

Ill sell you factory switch for $15 that be easier and imo look better.

the guy at my dealer told me $62 for a fog light switch..... i told him he can keep that, ill go on ebay...

He was probably trying to sell you the one that lights up...the one I listed above is only $12 (it does not light up). I just bought one a week ago and only paid $9.00 for it.

With that said, I have both kind of switches...only I didn't pay $62.00 just for one switch. Found it for $25 on Performance Products website about 2-3yrs ago. Here's a pic of it on the left and the $9 oem swith on the right:
