The terrible seat....

Just wanted to throw this out there: Saw this in a FB post: (not mine)

8thgen Civic (coupe) seats installed in a 4thgen 4Runner. I think the Honda seats are comfortable and supposedly bolt right onto our trucks.

Required: (words of the poster in FB)
1) Extend the civics sliders and put oem front brackets.
2) *cuttting required?* Response: "cutting only, no welding, only bolts and nuts. Sorry, have no pics"

Summary: with little hassle, Honda Civic seats fit in our 4Runners in case someone absolutely hates the factory seats.

I have a friend who is a welder who can make me just about anything.
I hate my 4th gen seats too, so I am going to get some plush seats out of an older 90's 80's car and have him build custom brackets that can mount onto the 4Runner ones.
