While we're on the subject...

What's the difference between the kit listed above and the "Toytec Ultimate?"

The price is significantly different, but I'm not clear on what parts (and more importantly performance) is different.

I could be wrong but my understanding is that the only difference is in how the front shocks adjust. Ultimate has a screw adjustment similar to a coil-over and these shocks utilize c clips to adjust. :shrug:

Performance wise I cant imagine much difference other than adjust-ability?

We have this kit on our FJ and I plan to put it on my 4Runner when the XREAS fail.

We installed it on the FJ right after we bought it so I cant compare it to the original ride.

I do like the way the FJ rides and handles. It is not real stiff like a Jeep Wrangler is but it does not roll either. We did the 3" lift and it came out great (IMO)
