The Baja Full Length Utility rack that I ordered last week showed up today. Southeast Overland was super helpful when I ordered, calling Baja to find out what the ship date looked like and following up with me several times to keep me in the loop so I could plan to be home for the delivery. I will definitely be ordering from them when I can.
I'm SUPER happy with the quality of the finish and the rack in general. I wanted a low-profile rack that was still strong and useful and this fits the bill.
My boys will be over tomorrow so we will have testosterone-fueled evening of wrenching and trying to avoid scratching anything expensive. Pics to follow.

Installed my rack last night, super happy with how it turned out. Here is a potato shot, sorry for the quality. I need a wash and some spare time at a good part of the day to get an updated vanity shot.
Before anyone asks where I got the super awesome canopy, it's DYI. I am going to mount a rack canopy when I decide which one I want, but we are camping this weekend and I needed something immediately. $25 and a few re-tied bowline knots later, I gave birth to the patented(pending) WBechiom Last Minute DYI Canopy and Awning Kit.
I don't anticipate more than a 5 to 8 month backlog for the first round of orders, and I take Paypal.

Nope, first thing I did was lookup the tire information here in the forum about what would fit and not rub. I got the 275/70/17s based on this:

They fit perfectly, no rub, even at full lock with completely stock suspension.

I'm new to oversized A/T tires, so to be honest, I have nothing to compare them against except the car tires that came from the factory.
I am generally happy with them so far, they are quiet on the highway to the point that I can't hear them over the wind noise.

I was super happy to find the thread, every time I decide I want to do something I find the perfect documentation from someone who has done it already and it's saved me some headaches already.
Went exploring in the snow up around Government Camp. It's neat to be able to find snow an hour away from home (and not have to live in it.) Not so neat? Busting my a** twice; once trying to scramble over a snow bank to get a better shot, and once just getting out of my truck. Nothing brings your adventuring day dreams crashing back to earth like a face full of snow and the knowledge that getting your breath knocked out at 40 takes a lot longer to recover from.
