The V8, it Purrs!!! (Updated with pics)

I just took delivery, my Lord, what a vehicle!!! The V8 is defintely sweet. Irrespective of that, the handling characteristics are greatly exceeding my expectations. And while I know the black will take more work to maintain, it really looks good. Too dark for the digital camera. I'll get pics up tomorrow.

I'm sure you all know how I'm feeling right now, indeed what a feeling!!!

I know how you feel. I've had mine for 6 weeks and I'm still on cloud 9. I find myself driving along, thinking, 'damn this is a great rig!'

The Durango is my wife's company car. Her other car is a BMW 325xi, which is her baby, I really ought not go near that one, if I know what's good for me.:cannon:

Man I'll tell you, I didn't want to stop driving today. As good as the vehicle looks, I know that the newness of the paint will fade over time, but man that ride!!! I applied Scotchguard treatment today, I just need to get some seat covers for an extra level of protection.

And a carrier for the hitch and I'm good to go.

Oh and I gave it just a little gas at 55, you know just to check, man does that thing move and I wasn't even close to pushing it. Man what an engine!!! I take it back, it ROARS!!! :
