The ZR2

As cool as the ZR2 is, I hesitate to buy anything with a GM badge. Being from the epicenter of the Big 3 (Michigan), most everyone there buys a Ford, GM, or Chrysler product as opposed to anything Japanese, German, or Korean. I've seen a lot of GM products just rust out in no time flat, have transmission issues, or just general terrible build quality. Granted, the rust issue is just a symptom of midwest salt, but the fact is that I see a lot of older Ford and Japanese vehicles of the same years that don't have the rust issues.

Are you kidding?

All the Taco's, Tundra's, and Sequoia's that have serious rust problems and are undergoing recalls?

Toyota has been installing the factory rust package since the early 80's.

I had to put a new frame under my 83 myself.
