These tires?

I need to get new tires but I don't have the money right now to get the tires I want which are probably the BFG all terrains. I found these close to me and am going to look at them tonight, my 4runner is basically dedicated to off-roading and camping.

What do you think of these tire and the price?

also, next time try not to post your craigslist find so no one else can snipe it from you. when good deals come around, most of the time not only you are looking at them

Yea I've had mud terrains before so I know the noise, I'm just not sure if I want to mess with getting them to run a little while till I go something else.

I run the BFG KM1's. They have some rumble but it isn't as bad as some tires. Definitely not AT tire quiet though.

Tires, tires, tires

I drive 20,000 miles a year or more and I have been driving for 20 years, so do the math. I have had Toyotas since 1988 when I bought my first FJ40. I have used all types of tires and I have boiled it down to this; the BFG KO is my all time favorite. They work better than mudders 99.9% of the time, and since we have to deal with winter up here in northern Utah, mud tires are not a sensible option due to their poor performance on icy roads. I had a set of KM2s recently until I drove them on slick roads. They came off immediately.

Yep. If you live in snow county MT tires are sketchy to say the least. One drive on snow packed/icy roads will be your last trip on them. I made the same mistake once, but since I live in a non snow zone I don't mind them.

Yea it never snows here but most years we like to go atleast one off-roading/ camping trip a year.

I went and looked at them and they look fine but I'm just going to wait a little and get the BFG a/Ts. I had mud terrains on my last truck and I just didn't like them much mainly because we don't really have much mud so everything is rocks and sand or snow when we go north for trips.

I have the Hankook Dynapro AT'm. I love them, great on the streets, dry or wet, quiet. If you familiar with Butcher Jones and Sycamore Creek, I have been there with them and they made it with no problems. Its light offroading, but enough to require 4wd and some good traction in spots. Went up to Flag and they were great on the snow and ice. I played in some mud, but nothing to deep. they did just fine, however I don't think I really put them in a spot to fail. Just my 2 cents. yes there are plenty of better tires out there, however they fit my budget and i feel really great all around performance... good luck, I know I lost a lot of my life searching everything to make the same decision lol just gotta pull the trigger at some point.
