So the only light that was on my 4runner when I got it was the TPMS. Even after filling all 5 tires I still had the dang light, but I was for sure not going to pay money to have my tires removed just to replace each one of the darn things if I didn't NEED to take the tires off. So a quick google/youtube/forum search later I found the hack to turn it off...however they all involved cutting or splicing into the wires in some way. I am not a big fan of exposing the wires if they don't need to be, so what I did instead was de-pinned them and taped them together.
Same result, but now I don't have to worry about the wires integrity, and when I replace my tires and rims when my tires are bald, I have the opportunity to replace the sensors and all I have to do is plug the pins in and we are good to go!
