I just bought a 2013 limited and am dying to get back to my BFGs. You mentioned little to no rubbing... What did it do to the mileage and what about power/acceleration reduction?

I 2nd the rubbing/mileage question.
Also, has anyone ran these tires on their SR5? I'll be needing replacements soon enough and want to go with another A/T tire thats a little more aggressive than the stocks that come with the rig. Also, does turning the BFG A/Ts inside out (white letters on the inside) affect the traction/performance?

Never heard back on this and went with 275/55 r20 silent armors. Been pleased. Quieter than the BFGs I had on my 2008 LE. Did impact mileage from stock size a little bit.

Ok, that made me laugh. Nice work.
Glad I found this. I have been running the BFG's on previous vehicles, from a Tacoma to a Crew Cab Dodge Diesel. They are great tires, even if they are a little expensive. I have also had the Nitto's, and IMO they are terrible. They are spongy, offer poor traction, and wear very fast- the complete opposite of the BFG's.
OP it looks as if you have leveled the front and possibly lifted the back. Is that the case?
EDIT- OK, these tires are $400+ each. That's insane. I could buy a new set of 17" SR5 rims with new AT tires for less than that and have 2 sets.

I have a 2012 Ltd. I have the stock wheels and want a beefier tire. I wanted the BF Goodrich AT tires, 285/55/20 but my rims are only 7 inches. Was wondering if you had an issue? Dont know if the 2010 had the same size wheels. I like my wheels and really didnt want to get new ones. Can anyone suggest an all terrain tire that would fit?? Any help greatly appreciated!

The problem some members have had with the limited rims is getting a tire shop to mount the tires on the rims since they are only 7 inches wide, some places will do it and some wont because most of the manufacture's specs suggest a 7.5" width.

As for suggesting an all terrain tire that would fit it will ultimately be what you are going to use the truck for.
