You never go back. Well in my case that's not true. I went back with my silver wheels for a cleaner classier look. Once I get my wheel spacers it will make a huge difference. Let me know what you guys think.

Personally I like the black rims, but then again i am not a fan of the stock SR5 wheels either. Nice looking truck over all though. :hatsoff:

I'm with you. The black was cool for awhile. But I like re silver much better. I'll be getting wheel spacers in the next few weeks and it will look like a brand new truck. Gotta recover from paying uncle sam first though ha ha.

This is REALLY funny because I JUST decided yesterday that I'm going to "undo" my black sport wheels. It was something I did when I had no money to spend on the 4Runner right when I got it just to make it different than all the other 4Runners out there. But now with lift and tires, I'm going back to silver!

Did you buy new wheels or what? I'm just going to use paint stripper and then Mother's wheel ball and metal polish and some clear coat to get them back to stock (as close as possible).

I bought new wheels, I had a buddy that was selling his on the cheap. Going to re paint the black ones and sell them now I think

It shouldn't be too hard. You should do a "how to" thread detailing the process in case anyone else would want to do the same.

Yep. Try it and go back to silver if you don't like it. The black was nice for awhile but I got tired of it, just need wheel spacers now.

I have enough black on the truck with my rack and light bar (like your truck) I was ready to tone it down with the silver wheels. What wheel spacers are you running?

I think just solid black looks to heavy to me, but if you can add some silver to black wheels then it isn't so bad. I have never been a fan of the SR5 wheels but that is personal preference. All that matters is if you like the new look!

Although I have a Pacific Blue Metallic Runner, and love it, Silver is my favorite truck color. I prefer the silver wheels.

As for having black and not going back, I have disproven that one too!~
