things to look for.

i was wondering if y'all could tell me some things to look for on a 2nd gen 4runner. ive got a friend looking at a 92, 4x4 v6 auto with 176k on it.
any problem areas i should have her look at?

Check for the basics like leaks, rust and all electrical components. I would check to see if the engine has had its head gaskets replaced. They are notorious for going bad. Also you are about the right mileage for your timing belt and water pump to be replaced. Check when the previous last did that. Make sure the back window goes down using the switch inside the cab and the key on the tailgate.

The 3.0 is a slow engine. If he wants something with more power he should get the 3.4 engine.
