Thinking of removing your flares...

...think really hard about it first...

I knew this would be the case, and I read plenty of people's warnings, but damn it I wanted to see my tires from the seats of my rig.

I think I will go with filling the holes and rhino lining down the sides of the truck to cover the holes. I think I will like that look.

I wanted to post this pic so that other can be certain what they are getting into before they do it. For the meantime I will have to do something ghetto to keep water from draining into my panels. Cheap-ass ideas are welcome.

Funny how I had flares and didn't want them, and so many others don't have them and want them??

In India they bleach themselves to be more white,
and in the US they tan themselves to be more dark...

I got a buddy with a LC, that removed his, he just put some JB Weld over the holes, sanded it a bit, then did the Rino Linning, looks AWESOME, the best part, you cant even tell holes are there arty:

I don't know much about the 3rd Generation but I think the Limited has the fatty fender flares?!?!

Does your Sport Edition have the fatty fender flares?

I love the look of the fatties!!

Yup, that's the plan! I saw a rig on yotatech that did just that.

I am worried though about the hole filling just pushing through the body unless I back somehow. The square holes are really pretty big.

I guess I could just put enough on that it laps the outside of the hole, but I don't want it to make visible bumps.

Has anyone done the do-it-yourself type of liners like Hurculiner?

Don't you have to pay someone to do Rhino Liner's?
