thinking of tackling exhaust manifold job

I cant seem to find a DIY on doing the exhaust manifold leak on my 1994 . I would like some info on people who have done this before. Im doing the driver side. What's the best way to attack this? What tools will I need? What do I need to remove? Should I spray something in advance? What are the do's and don'ts ? Thanks for your time. If you have a step by step , that would be better .
